Absolutely beautiful!!!! Pillows are perfect match with the interior of my classic 1956 Packard and the gold script on the pillows match perfectly with the gold script on the outside of my Packard. A huge "THANK YOU!!!"

Pillow is great love the art work but the zipper quality is bad . Zipping it up the last bit wouldn’t go then it had a gap and continued . I cannot unzip and do again in fear of the whole thing breaking. But the art work is amazing and I am so so happy for my purchase.

Bought this for my horse loving granddaughter and she absolutely loved it. Fabric has a nice texture and inside pillow is good and fluffy. Delivery occurred in a reasonable time.

The Blues Brothers - realistic acrylic painting by the Dutch fine artist Paul Meijering - the Original painting is 90 x 120 cm and SOLD
The Blues Brothers, formally, variously The Blues Brothers' Show Band and Revue and The Blues Brothers' Rhythm and Blues Revue, are an American blues and rhythm and blues revivalist band founded in 1976 by comedy actors Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live. Belushi and Aykroyd, in character as lead vocalist "Joliet" Jake Blues (named after Joliet Prison) and harmonica player/backing vocalist Elwood Blues (named after the Elwood Ordnance Plant, which made TNT and grenades during World War II), fronted the band, which was composed of well-known and respected musicians. The Blues Brothers first appeared on Saturday Night Live on January 17, 1976. The band made its second appearance as the musical guest on the April 22, 1978 episode of Saturday Night Live. They made their third and final appearance on Nov...
For almost 33 years now, Paul Meijering has been active with the paint brushes. As a 17- year old inspired youngster he joined the Academy of Arts in Enschede (Holland) in order to receive a native training in drawing- and painting technique. At that time (1980) the tendency of the abstract was running riot, and to his dismay and disappointment Paul found that the trade of the ancient masters was merely 'old hat', the realistic art being disregarded and looked down upon. After two years of useless botchery, there was only one conclusion to draw: "get autodidact, be a self-taught person!" Paul then left the academy to work for a living, but at the back of his mind there always loomed the passion of his life: to paint. At his spare time...

Uh, I mean Gauguin of course. Sorry I just get a bit excited by finding an "Easter Egg" I kind of don't pay attention to my spelling. Anyway, like I said, a lot of us look for this sort of thing and it becomes our version of "Find Waldo." The "Find Waldo" books are an amusing way to get children to view things in both the general View, but to also learn to focus on the fine details that comprise the overall impression of a particular image. Even if you are not into the "Easter Egg" aspect, it is a usefull tool to apply whenever trying to understand the more subtile nuances involved in a particular portrait. - Morgan (Can't spell worth a damn anyway. I wish FAA would incorporate a spell check into this comment section.) :) - M

I just had to comment about "The Blues Brothers." The first thing that struck me was that it is nothing like the normal "Meijering" style(s) I've come to admire. I stared at the faces for a bit trying to figure it out when I suddenly focused on the Sun in the center. DUH! it is done in a "Post Impressionsit" Style and because of the specific depiction of the Sun, I suspect this was a "Tribute" to Paul Gogan. (Kind of what I call a hidden "Easter Egg" for the amusment of amature art weenies like me to find.) Maybe Paul would let us know if I'm correct, or just reading too much into it. -Morgan
